The Restaurant Revitalization Fund (RRF) was established as part of the American Rescue Plan Act to provide funding to restaurants and similar establishments to help keep their doors open. At this point, applications are closed for this funding. However, prior applications may be reopened, and additional options for grant money might be available for those outside the food service industry. The Relief for Restaurants and Other Hard Hit Small Business Act of 2022 (H.R. 3807) proposed to add another $42 billion to the RRF, along with funding the new $18 billion “Hard Hit Industries Award Program” (HHIAP).
